Manuscript Submission:
As a scholarly journal, all manuscripts are assessed for possible publication following a double-blind review process. Manuscripts are normally reviewed by three independent assessors with relevant expertise

Manuscripts should be submitted either electronically or in hard copy in triplicate. Main articles should be 3,000 - 5,500 words in length (excluding references and attachments). They should be typewritten on one side of the paper, double spaced (including references), and should be checked carefully. All rights and permissions must be obtained by the contributor(s). These permissions should be sent upon acceptance of the manuscript for publication.

On a separate title page, include the manuscript title, all author names and corresponding affiliations, and the name and complete mailing address and other contact details of the contact author for correspondence and mailing proofs. This information should be included on a separate page, because manuscripts are sent out for blind review. Include telephone and fax numbers and e-mail address for the designated corresponding author. On the first page of the manuscript, itself, include the title but do not include any author details.

Abstract: Provide an abstract of up to 250 words. It should contain an abbreviated representation of the content of the manuscript. Major results, conclusions, and/or recommendations should be given, followed by supporting details of method, scope, or purpose as appropriate. Supply 3 to 5 keywords suitable for indexing.

References should be placed at the end of the manuscript on a separate page, arranged in alphabetical order. Follow APA guidelines set forth in their Publication Manual for text and reference list citations, per the examples.

Text citations: (Gunn, 1990) or (Fesenmaier et al., 1994; Mazanec, 1992, 1993; Uysal & Gitelson, 1994) or (Crompton, 1979, p.411) (for quoted material). Journal citation: Crouch, IG. I.. G. (1994). The study of international tourism demand: A review of findings. Journal of Travel Research, 33(1), 12-23. Book citation: Witt, E. S., & Witt, C. A. (1992). Modeling and forecasting demand in tourism. London: Academic Press. Chapter/pages in edited book: Frechtling, C. D. (1994). Assessing the impacts of travel and tourism: Measuring economic benefits. In J. R. Brent Ritchie & C. R. Goeldner (eds.), Travel, tourism, and hospitality research (2nd ed., pp. 367-391). New York: John Wiley & Sons. Please note that citations such as “personal communication” should be cited parenthetically in the text only. Do not include in the reference list.

Figures: All figures, if possible, should be prepared in a program that allows saving in .gif or eps format. (Do not incorporate figures within the text of the manuscript.) Black and white line art (i.e., bar graphs, etc) should be prepared without color unless the figure is to be printed in color. (Note there is a charge for printing figures in color.) Labeling and figure detail should be large enough to be legible after reduction to fit page parameters. Each figure must be cited in the text and legends and all illustrations should be included on a separate page. (Do not incorporate figure legends as part of the figure and figure file.) Place figure legend text at the end of the manuscript file. Include figure (graphic) files as separate files in the final submission. Please note that good quality copies of all figures should be submitted with the final accepted manuscript.

Photographs should be submitted unmounted, on white glossy paper (slides are not acceptable).

Tables: Table material should not duplicate the text. Include each table on a separate page at the end of the manuscript or as a separate page. (Do not incorporate tables within the text of the manuscript.)

Final Accepted Manuscripts: A final hard copy (or final electronic copy) of the accepted revised manuscript, including all tables and figures, should be e-mailed along with a disk which should be mailed to the relevant editor listed above.

Page Proofs and Offprints: Page proofs in pdf format will be sent to the designated corresponding contributor. A form for ordering offprints and copies of the journal issue in which the article appears will accompany the page proofs. Minor corrections only are allowed at proof stage.

Copyright: Publications are copyrighted for the protection of the authors and the publisher. A Transfer of Copyright Agreement will be sent to the author whose manuscript is accepted for publication. This form must be completed and returned to the editor(s) before the article can be published.

Although every effort is made by the publisher and editorial board to eliminate inaccurate or misleading data, opinion, or statement from manuscripts that will appear in this Journal, they wish to make it clear that data and opinions appearing in the articles and advertisement herein are the sole responsibility of the contributor(s) or advisor concerned.
